The compact grating spectrometer CGS UV-NIR CMOS is a class all its own. Being extremely compact, with a rugged design, and various detector options, it allows users to measure data with maximum quality and optimal spectral efficiency.
The CGS CMOS spectrometer is a multispectral line array spectrometer capturing a broad spectrum from 190 – 1100 nm in a single shot. As the optical input it offers an SMA connector, followed by a fixed slit, for precise coupling to single core multimode fibers. All optical components of the spectrometer (SMA connector, slit, grating, and detector) are attached to one stable and compact Aluminum housing. The core of the spectrometer is a blazed, flat-field grating for light dispersion and imaging. To realize an optimal optical resolution the grating is aberration corrected. There are different variants of detectors and slits available to match the spectrometers sensitivity and optical resolution to your application.
The spectrometer module’s compact body and thermally stable design makes it ideal for industrial applications. Low thermal expansion and minimum stray
light guarantee reliable measurement results, even in rough environments.
